5 x 14 snare drum is custom made from Paiste 2002 cymbal bronze by famous drum technician Jeff Ocheltree. This is drum #133 of a limited production run (no longer being produced) and is in very good condition.The drum was constructed and signed by Jeff Ocheltree on October 3, 2001 and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by both Jeff Ocheltree and Erik Paiste.
This is a beautiful, rare, custom snare drum that sounds as good as it looks, with a bright, rich and cutting sound that is capable of incredible volume, or delicate orchestral sensitivity. It features a cast Paiste bronze shell (weighing in at 19.4 lb.); custom machined, tumbled brass lugs; gold-plated die cast hoops; a Nickel Drumworks piston strainer; Puresound Custom snare wires and Remo heads.
