Ludwig & JW Jenkins et les infos qui vont avec pourront peut-être aider à la datation d'autres éléments. Nous avons ici du matériel du tout début du 20 ème siècle...
" The gal I purchased the set from said her father used to play dances durring WWII, she remembered him refinishing the wood on the drums sometime in the 40's so they are older than that for sure. There are patent dates on the snare stand on 1905 & the Ludwig bass pedal of 1909, but the other bass pedal looks to be WAY older than that. Both the Bass & Snare are 2-tone wooden. "
* Wood Bass Drum: 28" across 14" wide. Marked inside "This drum was buildt especially for J.W. Jenkins' Sons Music Company, The great band instrument house of Kansas City Missouri"
* Wood Snare drum: 14 1/2" across 3 3/4 deep. Has a brass key hangin on the inside, I do not see a mfg marking.
* Snare stand: "the Hamilton" patented Nov.26, 1901 & Nov.7, 1905
* Ludwig bass pedal: patent date 5/25/1909
* Cast Iron dual bass pedal, AWESOME! has a right, left or both pedal. Has a wood head on one, missing tip on other.
* Cymbol 10 3/4" with about a 1/2 bell rise
* Cymbol 12" with about a 1 inch bell rise
* Cymbol 12" with a tapered bell
* Cymbol 15" with a 5/8 inch bell rise
* 4 Stack Brass Cow Bells (2 1/4, 3 1/4, 4 1/4, 5 1/4) w/drum attachment
* Bass attachment with 2 cow bells(4" & 3 1/2"), cymbol stand & another clamp
* Wood block with drum attachment (7 1/2"x3"x2")
* Bass drum anchors(2), I marked Ludwig on both the shaft & clamp, the other anchor has no markings.
* Bass drum muffler, the pad has hardened and is crumbly
* Tribal/bongo style drums(2), one has an set attachment added the other just a string hanger.
* Canvas Bass drum case, shows wear & has some separations on the zipper
* hard shell case made by Corbin (holds cymbols, snare & misc assessories) poor shape, insides are shot
* Drum sticks(4): 3 marked "Ludwig 1A made in USA" the other is not marked
* Glockenspiel mallet, wood shaft with a hardend head
* Retracting Brush(2), both with rubber mallet end. the rubber cover of the alluminum handel is hardend & broken on both brushes, would look better removing it.
* bag of 25-30 extra pieces, clamps, screws, a cymbol pad, C-Clamp, screw driver, etc.
* Bass drum "V" attachment
