Si tu as tout payé 400€, tu as fait une bonne affaire.
La World est une très bonne batterie dont les 5 futs seuls pourraient se vendre 400/450 selon état (je parle d'un modèle verni)
Ca sonne très rock, la GC est plutôt puissante: le verni brillant intérieur doit aider.
Le seul reproche qu'on pourrait lui faire est d'avoir un déficit d'image: c'est juste une batterie qui sonne très bien, qui est faite avec du hardware de qualité mais qui n'a pas le "mojo" de ses cousines américaines de l'époque pourtant beaucoup plus sujettes à reproche quant à la qualité.

Ah, donc me voilà serein ! J'étais pas trop inquiet, et de toute façon, je voulais un truc qui ait une sorte de vécu (dc pas de neuf) et quelque chose s'approchant du "cachet" de l'instrument. Je trouve qu'elle en a. Et, y'a des accros sur la peinture, et je trouve que ça ajoute un charme et une histoire peut être.

Je joue sur une Pearl World Serie mais je ne pourrais lui donner un âge. Peut-être de 90 car elle fait assez récente.
Elle envoie un gros son, surtout la GC, mais l'attache tom est vraiment chiante ...
Here's a wee thing i put together some months ago. Hope it helps.
The World series was introduced in 1985 as an upmarket alternative to the Export. It was available in 2 variants the covered World 6500 Series (WX) and the laquered Prestige World 6500 (WLX).
They both had the same shells as the Dlx Which were 7ply Birch ,Mahogany and Super Lamin. The main differences being that they did not come with Super Hoops, had a downgraded snare drum and the Th-80 tom-holders from the export.
It must also be stressed these were taiwanese and NOT the Fantastic Japanese quality of the Dlx. If you put the 2 side by side you CAN see the difference, trust me.
Now, once Pearl had tragically decided to phase out the DLX in '87 sob! the World Series remained but was revamped in '89 and emerged with a new snare, new lugs, again like the exports and with all NEW shells.
This new shell was 7 ply Birch and Mahogany, the real stuff mind, not any of your bollocks Luan crap like some people seem to imply! These shells were still excellent quality and sounded awesome especially the Bass drum so no surprise there eh?
Eventually in '91 after running side by side with the Slx (Pretige Session Elite)the World Series was renamed the Prestige (Wlx) and Performance(Wx) Session Series. These 2 models shared the exact same shells the slight differences being the Snare drum, 1 colour option and the SLX had the seriously dodgy 3-piece mock High tension lugs which were eventually inherited by the Export. Then sadly in '92 the Wlx/Wx were discontinued. So there it is!

p.s Basically what i'm saying is keep that baby well polished up stick some Pinstripes on it and either an Evans emad or better still an aquarian superkick 1 on the bass and bloody enjoy it! Sell it at your peril. And by the way if your kit's in Coral Red it's one of the best colours Pearl ever did. You would however have no problems whatsoever selling it and should be starting at no less than around 700-800 quid if it's in great shape.

J'ai joué quelques années sur cette batterie, en 12,13,14,16,22,avec la caisse claire, j'ai toujours adoré le son.. très solide, avec un bon hardware, elle faisait pour moi parfaitement l'affaire;... et elle s'est bien revendue:)

Je suis un Batteur amateur, je joue depuis un an et mon ami m'a prêté une Pearl Export. Cette Batterie est t'elle convenable? Je ne m'y connait pas trop mais avec des peaux neuves ça le feraient?
